 George Caroll Hollywood Hairstylist Here are some inside tips that will help you "get through the day" and hopefully bring a smile to your face. They are some beauty secrets I've been using at my salon in Hollywood, CA for years. All the tips are simple and easy but can save hours of frustration and during a busy day the last thing you need to do is worry about your hair and makeup. To freshen-up a hairstyle that has lost its shape from long exposure to the hot studio lights I dampen the bristles of my styling brush with a light hold hair spray and place the brush at the neckline under the hair and brush it up and forward. After its combed back in place with its original shape and style. We often have to do this several times during a single shoot. 2 - Does Your Hairstyle Lose Shape? Try This Beauty Secret... To help keep a style from losing its shape during long periods under the hot studio lights, after blow dry styling I will dampen my fingertips with a styling spray or shaping gel and work it under the hair onto the scalp for extra style support in hard to hold spots. 3 - Tip to Remove Makeup Buildup Around Your HairlineMakeup is applied many times during filming, especially around the hairline. To the remove build-up from the hairline, before wetting the hair apply shampoo to the hairline first then wet the hair to lift and remove the makeup. 4 - No More Morning Bead Head Trick Works Wonders To prevent morning bedhead and keep a hairstyle in place after sleeping on it, replace your cotton pillowcase with a silk pillowcase. The cotton pillowcase will grab and pull the hair, while the hair will slide across the silk and the style will hold its shape. 5 - Best Kept Beauty Secret is a Hair Brush One of the best kept Hollywood hair styling beauty secrets is the HairFlex Styling Brush.
